The Rama-Fevziu online debate, as a noisemaker to draw attention to scandals!
Blendi Fevziu and Edi Rama

Erioni* most likely did not have the opportunity to see and read the posts and counter-posts of Edi Rama and Blendi Feviziu. He lives in the former Kënetë area of Durrës, where he has tried with all his heart and soul to provide a shelter for his children, after hours and hours of difficult work under the power of the water. He has seen, in a few days, that he is physically, emotionally and even financially ruined by the incident, while now the only window of salvation is the "cents" of the state, to compensate for the household furnishings.

Like Erioni, neither Artani* nor Albani* who live in Laç, or even thousands of others across Albania, have had the "brains" to provide food, shelter and clothing for minor children, since heads of state have the mind to appear in photos and videos when they visit them, or even the prime minister who has time to respond to a journalist. Meanwhile, hundreds of those affected by the fire on "May 5" have other thoughts, who have not had the time or energy to watch and read this response from their prime minister, as they are already racking their brains on how to get back on their feet, without any help from the state.

However, a part of the state administration, mainly the central apparatus in Tirana, is seeing and echoing this sterile debate, which they see as a “salvation opportunity” from all these scandals. These are the same officials who have signed permits for strategic investors, permits for the alienation of public property through the Albanian Investment Corporation or even unusual permits for complexes from the Territorial Development Agency.

The Rama - Fevziu online debate is also serving hundreds of employees of the National Agency for the Information Society, who now in prime time on television, shows or even news, will see and read not about their exploits, but what Rama said to the journalist Fevziu and how Fevziu responded. They will read and admire the prime minister's way of writing and will see that the journalist has template answers and does not have the same writing style as their boss.

Meanwhile, dozens of owners of large companies, from those mentioned in the SPAK files, who in collaboration with senior state officials emptied the state coffers, will be rubbing their hands and rolling their eyes, which will not be in the public eye. A debate that serves more to all those who have committed injustices, mainly people who run central or local institutions, those who have signed concessions, permits and everything else, but also to the SPAK defendants, who are watching a "soap opera" these days and not details from their files.

Moreover, Rama vs Fevziu also serves the MPs, mainly those of the Mandates Council, who have in their hands a voluminous SPAK file for the lifting of the immunity of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. The calls of the DP or small parties for the acceleration of the lifting of immunity will no longer have the same media interest, as they will admire the Prime Minister's vocabulary and Fevziu's response. Next week will be "fire" from these debates, initially with statements from a distance and, when interest fades, the long-awaited moment will come, a studio confrontation between Rama and Fevziu.

However, the problem of Erion*, Artan* and Alban* will most likely not be solved until next week, or in the coming months. They will wander in the hands of bureaucratic institutions to write letters of charity, but it is precisely at these doors that they will face the statesmen, who will be more concerned with the Rama-Fevziu debate than with signing the compensation./Editorial
