Fire on Mount Shengjin

The rapid spread of flames on Mount Shëngjin, near the main road in the Sake neighborhood, continued during the evening hours.

Strong winds have also contributed to the spread of the flames, while firefighters are facing difficulties in intervening near the hearth due to the terrain.

There are currently 5 firefighters working to extinguish the flames. Meanwhile, an explosion is also reported near the fire source.

It is suspected that a piece of stone injured the passenger of a car heading towards Shëngjin.

The young man was immediately transported to Lezha Hospital for medical assistance, while the incident is being investigated.
