A protester, during his speech at the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office, said that he had not spoken to his parents for 30 days, after he had insulted Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha.
"For my two previous outings, I have received a lot of criticism, ridicule and insults due to the fact that I am not from Zvërnec or Rrjolli, and for this reason I had no reason to come out here to speak or to curse these bloodsuckers. The first biggest blow I received was from my parents, because for them God is in heaven and Sali Berisha on earth, but I cursed them. I have not spoken to my father and mother for 30 days. My heart aches, but today from this square I have decided to postpone it for another 30 days," said the protester.
A protester, during his speech at the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, said that a few years ago, he had been sentenced more than Saimir Tahiri, for 33 grams of the narcotic cannabis plant.
The protester said that he had been working as a barber in Ireland for 9 years and was ready to return to Albania in the event of the government's departure.
"The goal is to remove Rama from here and I will not go to Ireland again. I have been there for 9 years, I am a barber, I am very good at my job and I can work very well here in Albania. The problem is that I went there after I got out of prison, where I was sentenced the same as Saimir Tahiri for 33 grams of weed, because I could not find a job in all of Tirana, I went to offices. But I should have had school, but I had it with a fake ID. And if you were not a licker of these, with a fake ID you cannot eat bread ," said the protester, among other things.
An immigrant from the United States, a cardiac surgeon by profession, gave a speech in English, expressing that she has gained the opportunity and future across the ocean, but now she dreams of returning to Albania.
"Rama in prison, Berisha in prison. I am a cardiac surgeon in America. My dear Albanians! Today I stand before you with gratitude in my heart, hope in my soul. America has taught me that people are free to speak. America gave me opportunities, Albania my identity. America gave me my future, Albania my soul. After 30 years, I have a new dream. I want to return to Albania. I dream of an Albania where young people succeed with meritocracy. I want to bring the experience, the knowledge I gained abroad. I dream of a just, prosperous Albania, where the diaspora chooses to return. If we have the courage to speak, we can make the dream a reality ," she said.
