This afternoon, a piece of land in the "Partizani" neighborhood in Vlora was engulfed in fire, endangering the houses located nearby.

But this fire highlighted the non-cooperation of the institutions in such an emergency, even putting the firefighters who were working to extinguish the flames at risk. The fire service had requested the interruption of electricity in this area, but the power distribution management structures had not acted.

In a video published by Syri TV, a firefighter can be heard calling OSHEE to turn off the power. He can be heard saying that they have warned him several times but there was still a current transmission.

The fire in Vlora burned hectares of bushes, but fortunately did not cause damage to homes or people.
