The two persons arrested at the border point of Kapshtica with 101 kg of drugs are known to be citizens Arben Marku, 45 years old, from Fushë Krujë and Miço Rexhepis, 58 years old from Tirana.

The latter had the role of truck driver and is the person you see in the photo below. The cannabis caught in their truck, according to police authorities, was destined for Turkey.

Marku and Rexhepis had modified the "Scania" brand truck and had put the narcotics in plastic rods in the trailer of the truck.

Arben Marku is an employee of a private food company, based in the city of Tirana, who allegedly loaded the cannabis into the truck with other people.

They were arrested as part of the "Restart" operation. As part of this operation, the number of arrestees has reached 25 and a total of 666.5 kilograms of cannabis narcotics and 550 grams of cannabis in the form of chocolate have been seized.
