The acting mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, is not only detained in Durrës Prison, but is also now a resident of the coastal city.

Mayor Veliaj, who has been in Durrës' cell for several months, is also registered as a resident of this city.

From a search of the Central Election Commission's list for the May 11 parliamentary elections, Erion Veliaj appears to have been added to the voter list in Durrës.

This means that Veliaj will not vote in the May 11 parliamentary elections for the Socialist Party candidates in Tirana, but his vote will go to one of the candidates from the Durrës District.

Erion Veliaj was arrested by order of SPAK on February 10 of this year, on charges of passive corruption and money laundering.
