Her funeral took place this afternoon in the Terni area of ​​Italy, while earlier Ilaria's coffin arrived at the Albanian family's apartment, accompanied by her relatives.

The words of the 22-year-old's mother outside the house were touching, as she called out her daughter's name through tears.

"Oh my Ilaria, oh my mother died for you, oh my Ilaria, where are you, oh my mother's soul, where are you that you have no light in your eyes, where are you locked away, oh my mother's soul.


"Mom, I brought you home, because you said you would come home, mom, I brought you home, oh dear, oh Ilaria, open your eyes," Ilaria's mother can be heard crying bitterly.

We recall that Mark Samson killed Ilaria Sula by stabbing her 3 times in the throat on the evening of March 25, wounds that caused the 22-year-old Albanian woman's death in less than a minute due to massive blood loss.

The 23-year-old closed the door to his bedroom and until the afternoon of March 26, he kept the body of the Albanian student, whom he had invited to sleep at his house, hidden, even though they had been separated for a year.

Meanwhile, as Italian media reports, a few days after the young man killed Ilarian and threw him into a ravine, he took his vehicle to a service station and asked for the car to be cleaned.

Employees at the service station where Mark Samson took his vehicle for repair described him as a kind guy and that they never thought he could do something like this.

Missing for a week, 22-year-old Ilaria Sula was found murdered. Her body was found in a suitcase thrown into a ravine in a wooded area in Poli.

The Albanian was killed by her ex-Filipino boyfriend, Mark Samson, who is in prison. Investigators managed to discover that in the days after the girl's disappearance, the 23-year-old Filipino had continued to use her phone and post from Ilaria's social media profiles to clear suspicions.
