The interrogation of the mother of Mark Samson, the young man arrested for the murder of Ilaria Sula, his ex-girlfriend, has ended after four hours.
The woman has been registered as a suspect since Saturday on charges of collaborating in hiding a dead body, a criminal offense that carries a penalty of up to three years in prison.
An interrogation that lasted four hours, also due to the necessary presence of an interpreter, which the woman herself had requested, in the face of increasingly strong evidence against her.
"I helped my son clean up blood stains at home ," admits Nors Marlapz.
At the end of the statements and answers to questions from prosecutor Maria Perna, she was charged with collaboration in hiding the body.
In the arrest warrant for the 23-year-old, the judge highlights the "coldness and lack of sensitivity" in the sudden and "brutal attack on a person who trusted him."
The woman, who admits to being at home when her son committed the murder, is said to have helped him clean the bedroom where the murder allegedly took place.
In the coming days, the 23-year-old's defense team may request a psychiatric evaluation for Samson.
"The mother was at home, unlike his father, who was not there at that time, and is now clarifying her position. She is under investigation for collaboration in hiding the dead body ," confirms lawyer Fabrizio Gallo, Mark Samson's defender.
