A 27-year-old man has been missing since Sunday afternoon, when the country was hit by unusual snowfall.

Ajet Lleshi from the village of Kishaj i Hasit had been heading towards the Pashtriku mountain to cut wood in the forest since yesterday morning, but around 5:00 PM, his family reported that they had lost contact with him.

Under these conditions, the young man's father and his three uncles went out into the mountains to search for him, but they split up in different directions and since 2 am the family has lost contact with the 27-year-old's father.

Immediately after the announcement, the Police services have launched a search in the area, in cooperation with Civil Emergencies and residents of the village. An Armed Forces helicopter has also arrived to assist them in the search, but without result.
