Clandestine smuggling gangs from Albania to England are organizing free minibus trips from Southern Europe to the northern coast of France, while thousands of smugglers are crossing the English Channel.

According to the British newspaper ' The Telegraph ', members of these gangs are advertising these trips on the social network 'Tik Tok', as 100% safe trips.

If they accept these deals, the migrants will be sent to the shores of France where they will be met by gang members, often run by Iraqi Kurds. Migrants will pay thousands of dollars just to get a seat on the small boat to cross the 22-mile stretch of sea.

Only on Monday, 1,295 immigrants who crossed the border were registered. British intelligence has reported that two fifths of the immigrants are from Albania. Monday brought the number of migrants who have crossed the border into Britain to 22,500, which is twice the number of migrants in the same period last year.

This crisis has also strained the relationship between the immigration offices between France and Britain. Haust de France Prefecture has told The Telegraph that they are already trying to stop around 60% of illegal crossings.

Iraqi Kurdish traffickers continue to offer 'bargain' prices for crossing the border, adding that crossing has never been cheaper. There is no lack of advertisements on Tik Tok which offer immigrants daily trips from Shkodra to Dunkrik.

"Albanians come for economic reasons. There is great poverty there and they want to come to the UK for a better life. They usually work in the black market, mainly in construction," a source told The Telegraph.

"Posts on social media to promote the illegal crossing of borders are totally unacceptable," said British Secretary Priti Patel, adding that no one should doubt the determination of the British government to stop this illegal migrant traffic.
