The names of the 29 arrested, who organized games of chance such as poker and online sports betting, in different areas of Tirana, have been revealed.
The 29 people were arrested after an operation by the Cyber Crimes Investigation Sector, in cooperation with the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Sector, the Special Operational Force and the Special Force "Eagle", the police operation codenamed "Bad spin".
During this operation, subjects and citizens were identified, who carry out the illegal activity of organizing and adapting the premises for the organization of illegal lotteries (poker and online sports betting), in different areas of Tirana.
As material evidence, sums of money suspected to have benefited from the illegal activity of gambling, 33 mobile devices and various computer equipment used for the exercise of this illegal activity were seized.
