Beqir Selamaj, alias Murati, has refused to reveal anything about the names of the people who paid him to place TNT in the "The Boss" bar in Vlora.

Selamaj is known by the Vlora police as a person with a tendency to steal, and has even been convicted of this criminal offense.

During the two days he has been in the Vlora police station, the 28-year-old has been questioned at length, with the head of the State Police, Ilir Proda, the Director of the Vlora Police, and the prosecutor in the case also participating in his interview.

Selamaj admitted that he was the author of the TNT bomb, but refused to reveal the names of the individuals who ordered him to blow up the bar owned by the mother of Bledar Birçaj, the latter killed in 2021 in Vlora.

"Ora News" has learned that in the hope that Selamaj will speak and to guarantee him credibility and protection, the head of the State Police, Ilir Proda, arrived in Vlora with great urgency, with the aim of communicating directly with the arrested person.

But even the appearance of a senior police officer did not yield any results, as the 28-year-old refused to speak about the names of the people who ordered and paid him to plant the TNT.

According to the file of the Vlora prosecutor's office, which has already requested the security measure "prison arrest" for Selamaj in court, it turns out that the perpetrator of the crime was discovered through a chain of cameras in the city of Vlora.

The police have meticulously analyzed the security cameras, where Beqir Selamaj was captured on film footage from the moment he left his home in Vlora on his bicycle.

He was wearing black clothes. After placing the amount of TNT, he left again on his bicycle, moving to another area of ​​Vlora.

Along the way, he took off his clothes and then rode his bike again to a bar where he drank coffee.

The event in Vlora was recorded on December 8, 2022 at 05:50 in the morning, causing only material damage.

The bar, which operated as a bar, restaurant and pizzeria, on Lungomare was owned by the family of Bledar Birçaj, who was executed by a hail of bullets on May 10, 2021, in his car in the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood.

The bar "The Boss" is owned by Bledar Birçaj's mother, Resmie Birçaj. It was previously rented out, but was recently taken back into administration by the owners, the brothers of the victim eliminated 3 years ago.
