A hearing was held at the Korça Court to communicate security measures to those detained for the murder of 14-year-old Erald Xhejo in Maliq.
After being briefed on the evidence presented by the prosecution, the black squads have decided to leave the author Enedio Guri, his father Edison Guri, and the minor author's uncle, Roland Guri, in prison indefinitely.
On the other hand, the court has placed Florian Çela, the friend of the suspected perpetrator of the incident, under house arrest, who is accused of failing to report the crime, while it has imposed the security measure of parental supervision on the 4 minors.
Lawyer Ledjan Spaho, after the security measure hearing, stated that 14-year-old Enedio Guri expressed remorse for the murder of his peer.
The juvenile stated in the courtroom that he did not want to commit the crime, and that he regretted his actions.
"I repent, I did not mean to commit murder," the 14-year-old said to the black squads.
It is learned that a few days before the crime occurred, the perpetrator drove a vehicle to the village of Zvirinë and slashed the tires in front of the victim's uncle's bar and drove away.
On the day of the incident, August 14, 2025, the 14-year-old boy and a friend went to the village of Pirg to get a haircut. They saw the perpetrator driving by and whistled at him in an attempt to get an explanation. After getting out of the car, he started arguing, while pulling out a knife.
The 14-year-old, in these conditions, took a chair from the bar's yard to defend himself, placing it in front of his body, but as he took steps back, he tripped and the perpetrator, at that moment, stabbed him.
The entire incident was filmed by the bar's security cameras.
His father and uncle were arrested along with the perpetrator after they hid the cutting tool with which the crime was committed.
