Following the tragic event in the village of Pirg in Maliqi, where a 14-year-old, Erald Xhejo, lost his life, the mother of Martin Can, the teenager who was killed in November last year at the "Fan Noli" school in Tirana, has reacted.

In a touching message shared on social media, she says:

"I am the mother of Martin Can, the son I lost in November at Fan Noli School. That morning I saw him off to school as always, with his beautiful eyes full of life and his sweet smile, but I didn't know that it was the last time I would see him. When I heard about the tragedy of Erald Xhejo, I felt the same pain and my wound opened again. I cannot remain silent because I know the pain of losing a child in such an innocent and cruel way. Silence is not a solution, because it kills. Yesterday it was Martini, today it was Eraldo, tomorrow it could be your child. How many Martina or Eraldo have to go before the state reacts? Erald son, I cry for you today as if it were my own son."
