Businessman Pandeli Carapuli was summoned to SPAK today.
Carapuli was accompanied by his lawyer, but while leaving the Special Prosecution Office, he refused to speak to the media.
According to SPAK's file, Pandeli Carapuli is a businessman linked to former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
The latter has benefited from an apartment from Pandeli Carapuli, which according to SPAK must have been given in exchange for a tender obtained by Balluku at the time when the latter was running AlbControll.
We recall that a day ago, the Albanian Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office announced that it had communicated the charges to former national team player, Igli Tare, who, according to SPAK, hid Belinda Balluku's luxury villa in the Dhërmi beach area in his name.
The owner of the villas in the Withe Rock complex is Pandeli Carapuli.
