The footage of the murder of Pjerin Xhuvan was published for the first time, a few days before the April 25 parliamentary elections.

The event took place on April 21, 2021 in the '5 Maji' neighborhood in Elbasan. As can be seen from the footage provided by the show "Në Shënjestre", there was a clash between two groups of militants.

It can also be seen in the footage that the vote protection group engaged by the Democratic Party blocks a car that, according to them, had lists of payments and money. The footage shows Arber Paplekaj and Pjerin Xhuvani, who later lost their lives. In the event in question, which became the "apple" of the fight between the political parties, three other people were injured, among them a police officer.

The case is currently under trial, while the suspected perpetrator, Arber Paplekaj, is behind bars. The Court of the Judicial District of Elbasan has decided the measure of suspension for the six operatives of the "Eagles", arrested for the murder of Pjerin Xhuvan, four days before the April 25 elections.
