In the children's home "Vangjel Pulla" in Saranda, it is suspected that 3 children were abused.

The mother of the children in question filed a complaint at police station No. 3 in the capital. She told Euronews Albania that she had taken her children on vacation and they had confessed to her about the abuse that was done to them in the orphanage.

While bathing her son, the youngest of the children, he had tearfully revealed that he had been tortured, beaten, smeared with toothpaste and gagged with a pillow, the mother said. According to him, both friends and educators locked him in the closet and beat him, she added.

The older girls, the story continued, told the same stories of torture. They showed that the boys of the orphanage used banal words and insulted them, while they also exercised physical violence, the children's mother said in the show.
