Mayor Veliaj has requested a live broadcast of the session at the Administrative Court, something that is opposed by the prosecutor's lawyer Ols Dado.

In his argument, Ndreca reiterated that it is a constitutional principle and it is a case that does not violate the process.

"The right of every citizen to be in a court session, that is, the constitutional principle of publicity of the session, cannot be prohibited except when the integrity of the halls, of a judicial process, is violated, which does not happen in this case. The Constitution determines the freedom of the media and it must have the means at its disposal to exercise its free activity. I can say that it must be registered," said Ndreca as the judicial body withdrew to the consultation room.

However, the Court decided to allow the broadcast at the beginning and at several points in the decision.

"Recording and broadcasting part of the session, at the opening and part of the session when giving decisions. The cameras must record the plaintiff or the court, not others. Journalists can be present and take notes, but not recordings. The cameras should be turned off and not recorded," the judge said.
