The attendees were greeted by the US Chargé d'Affaires in Albania, Nancy VanHorn , who described the concert as a symbol of the strong bond between the two allied nations.

"Tonight, we bring you something special – the electrifying sounds of the Flagship Band of the U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa, along with the extraordinary Albanian Armed Forces Orchestra. Two world-class military orchestras. One stage. Pure musical excellence," said the American diplomat.

The event was organized as part of the global initiative "Freedom 250", which marks the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America. According to the American diplomat, this initiative aims to promote the values of freedom, cooperation and shared opportunities with international partners.

“‘Freedom 250’ is an invitation to friends around the world, including here in Albania, to celebrate American history. And it is your history too. It belongs to all who believe in freedom, opportunity, and prosperity,” she said.

American diplomat VanHorn emphasized that the relationship between Albania and the US is based on lasting friendship and close cooperation in many areas.

"This show is more than a concert. It is a celebration of the unbreakable bond between our nations, as Allies, as trusted friends, and as partners in freedom. This is what makes the U.S.-Albania friendship unstoppable, wonderful partners like all of you," VanHorn declared.

The concert, organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Tirana, the Ministry of Defense, the Polytechnic University of Tirana, and other educational and cultural institutions, was accompanied by joint musical performances and the participation of Albanian artists, bringing a festive atmosphere and another testament to the cultural cooperation between Albania and the United States.
