Veliaj heads to Strasbourg/ SPAK rejects British lawyers' date for signing application

A week ago, the British lawyers of Mayor Erion Veliaj asked SPAK to hold a meeting on September 10, with the aim of having Veliaj sign the application to send the case of his arrest to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

SPAK has refused the meeting on the requested date, without any reason.

The application in Strasbourg will now be carried out without the scheduled meeting with British lawyers, due to SPAK's rejection.
