Lion Tabaku

The Director of the Elbasan Water Supply Company, Luan Tabaku , is suspected of being raped by two people on Sunday in the middle of the city, while no report has been filed with the Police or the Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident.

Tabaku was raped by two people, suspected to be citizens Endri Çopja and Horgito Peqini , causing a hematoma on the head of the local official.

However, it seems that the incident was attempted to be kept secret by the victim Tabaku himself, who did not file a police report. Official sources from the Elbasan Police said that Tabaku did not file any report, and they only received information about the alleged rape after the news was published in the media, writes Shekulli .

"Regarding the information about the rape of the Director of the Water Supply in Elbasan, Luan Tabaku, it is officially announced that there is no complaint in the Elbasan DVP regarding the case in question, nor any referral from the Prosecution. We have information about what has been reported in the media and we are taking our actions, but legally, as long as there is no official complaint or referral from the Prosecution, we cannot take any other procedural steps," the police announced.

It is learned that the cause of the serious incident was the dismissal of Endri Ccopja's wife by Luan Tabaku.

The latter is a character with a criminal past, having been previously arrested by the police as a suspect in the explosive attack against Lulzim Kulla, an event that occurred on January 13, 2018 in Shkodra, although he was released after no evidence was found.

The other suspect in the rape, Horgito Peqini, is the nephew of Eduart Peqini, known as the "Mandela of Elbasan", and was released from prison only a short time ago, where he had served a sentence for a murder that occurred in 2022.
