Unfortunately, one of the injured died in the hospital, bringing to two the number of victims from the serious accident registered this evening in the Great Ring Road in Tirana.

Official sources inform that two girls lost their lives, while the citizens Q K., OK, and KR were injured, who are in the hospital under the care of doctors.

According to the Police, around 6:05 p.m., the citizen KK, driving the vehicle, on the eastern ring road, allegedly on his way to the Tegu roundabout, lost control of his direction and the vehicle left the road and fell from the overpass, onto the hood of another vehicle. The cause of the accident is suspected to have been high speed.

On 09.03.2023, at around 18:05, the citizen KK, driving the vehicle, on the eastern ring road, it is suspected that while going to the Tegu roundabout, he lost control over his direction and the vehicle left the road and fell from the overpass , on the hood of another vehicle.

As a result, two female citizens lost their lives, as well as citizens Q K., OK, and KR, who are under the care of doctors, were sent to the hospital for medical assistance.

The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
