Police have arrested the owner of Jet Skis in Durrës for "violating occupational safety regulations".

According to police, 56-year-old Luis Xhumari was arrested after the tragic incident that occurred on June 1 with the two tourists.

It is learned that he had rented the boat to them, even though they did not have a driving license and were not equipped with diving suits.

Silvester Dheug, 34 years old, residing in England, is the tourist who died in the Kavaja Rock area, after a Jet Ski accident.

While his partner, Vera Ruani, is in serious health condition. The two foreigners are originally from Ghana, but with English documents.

It is initially suspected that maneuvers in the water were the cause of the accident.
