Three people have been arrested in Korça for selling cocaine and cannabis in doses.

Police report that two of the arrested are a married couple and a third has a previous criminal record.

It is learned that quantities of narcotics were found in the vehicle of one of them, in each of their apartments, and also in the 43-year-old's hair salon.

"The police operation coded "Next" is finalized, to crack down on the criminal activity of selling narcotics in doses. 3 citizens who collaborated in selling doses of cocaine and cannabis in different areas of the city are arrested. One of the arrested, previously convicted for the same criminal activity. Dozens of doses of cocaine and cannabis, 2 vehicles, 3 mobile phones and a sum of money suspected to have been obtained from this criminal activity are seized. Following the crackdown on the criminal activity of selling narcotics in doses, specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the "Eagle" Special Force Sector, as a result of investigations based on police information, have organized and finalized the operation coded "Next".

As a result of the operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in collaboration: Z. Ç., 55 years old and J. Ç., 43 years old (spouses), residents of Korça; O. Sh., 36 years old, resident of Korça, previously convicted for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".

The Police Services, in neighborhood no. 4, Korça, during the search of the vehicle with the driver citizen O. Sh. and the passenger citizen Z. Ç., and during the physical search of them, have found a quantity of the narcotic substance cocaine and a sum of money. Then, during the search of their apartments, a quantity of the suspected narcotic substance cocaine divided into dozens of doses ready for sale and 2 electronic scales were found. Following the operation, during the search of the subject (hairdresser) of citizen J. Ç., a quantity of the suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa was found, divided into doses ready for sale. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Korça, for further actions" , the Police informs.
