The blood feud between the Kaza and Gjini tribes is a blood feud: The state is

The blood feud reconciler, Gjin Marku, spoke about the blood feud saga between the Kaza and Gjini tribes, where the most recent victim was 57-year-old Pjeter Kaza, who was killed this Sunday in Tale, Lezha.

Marku blamed the situation on the state and politicians, accusing them of keeping the country in a long and difficult transition.

According to him, the Kaza and Gjini tribes are traditional and good families of Mirdita, but due to the difficult transition, the system has not managed to avoid these problems for Albanian society.

He gave the example of the communist period, where he said blood feuds between tribes were avoided.

"I express my condolences to the Kaza family, they are family and friends, not only mine, but also all Mirditërs. They are very good and traditionally known families in Mirdita. So is the Gjini family. In Mirdita we have three, four tribes that were the best families, but unfortunately they were not killed by revenge and blood feud, but by this system and this dangerous transition for Albanian society. We cannot say that it is revenge or blood feud that prevails in this case, but the lack of responsibility of the state and institutions, which have the main task of regulating the life of society, as the people dream and pay for this. In the communist system, people were not allowed to be killed, while now, in this desperate and devastating transition for Albanian society, these major problems have appeared. We have been the only institution that has fought with flesh and soul to be close to the pain and reconciliation of the parties. The fight against tradition and customs remains a losing battle. Customs have never been bad, but a tool of the peoples who have followed them and based. But in this transition we have the irresponsibility of those who should have become the masters of the country, who have not been able to communicate with society, because they were interested in power and not in regulating the lives of citizens. Families, in which misfortunes do not stop, remain in the pain and respect of all the people of Mirditori, "said the blood mediator, Gjin Marku during an interview with Euronews Albania.
