In an official document of the Greek Parliament in 2013, which mentions characters involved in criminal groups involved in extortion, murder, money laundering, etc., the name of the 47-year-old from Mesopotamia of Finiki, killed today in Athens, Irakli Davella, is also highlighted.

The latter turns out to be a controversial character, with strong ties between Athens, Corfu and Saranda, and even owning real estate in these places.

This is a discussion of the "SYRIZA" party, supported by official documents and some obtained from the Greek media, regarding the activity of one of the members of these criminal groups.

Among other things, the document lists the names of members of several groups. Specifically, the group designated "B", which includes Greek mafia figures Vasilis Grivas (killed in 2017), Giorgos Litsas (killed in 2018) and Manolis Karaggianis (killed in 2018), also includes the name of Irakli N. Davella.

Among the names of this group, which includes many other Albanians, stands out that of Evis Shyti, a 40-year-old Albanian arrested this year as a member of a group of fine-scattering, also involved in an explosives explosion case in March in Piraeus. The group to which Davella is included is accused of "criminal organization", "murder", "attempted murder", "fine-scattering", "robbery", "attempted fraud", "money laundering", etc. It is not known exactly in which of these acts of the group the 47-year-old Albanian was involved.

Irakli Davella's businesses

Irakli Davella appears to have obtained Greek citizenship in 2009. He owns a bar in the Peristeri area of ​​Athens and during the summer he also rented vehicles to the Greek islands.

In 2006, he appears to have registered, by decision of the Court of Saranda, a business "Café-Bar-Restaurant, as well as the retail and wholesale trade of various food and alcoholic beverages" in Delvina, a business which is still active with NIPT K66424544U based in Mesopotam, Finiq Municipality.

Also in 2020, he appears to have registered a business in the village of Xarrë, Konispol Municipality, for the cultivation of citrus fruits, which has now been deregistered.
