Other details have come to light from the Greek media about the mafia assassination attempt on two Albanians in Athens, where one of them was killed with a bullet to the head.

According to witnesses who saw the incident, the perpetrators approached the two Albanians on foot and then shot them with firearms.

"We heard shots, we saw people in black on the sidewalks. At first we thought they were throwing fireworks. Then, we saw a boy shouting 'they killed them, they hit them'. The police arrived relatively quickly, then people started to gather, because at first they didn't understand what had happened," says a witness.

The car in which the perpetrators were traveling was, according to the investigation team, stolen on Sunday morning, which makes them suspect that the assassination was planned in advance and that the perpetrators may be part of rival groups.
