Made famous by theft, the "hawks" are arrested in Vlora!

Two people have been arrested by the Vlora police, after being accused of several thefts in the coastal city.

The following citizens were arrested: J. S, 26 years old, resident of Orikum, and GG, 38 years old, resident of Dukat.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens, on 14.12.2024, in the village of Dukat, stole an amount of 700 euros and 25,000 lekë from the apartment of citizen R. I, as well as a camper owned by citizen A. C, which was found and seized during the search of citizen GG's apartment.

Also, the investigations have revealed that these citizens are suspected of being the perpetrators of 4 other thefts committed during the last 3 months, specifically: Theft of several beehives in Radhimë and Llogara and the theft of several livestock in Radhimë and Orikum.

Vlora police announcement:

The police operation codenamed "Rulot" is finalized.

6 cases of theft, committed in Dukat, Radhimë and Orikum, are solved and documented.

The two suspected perpetrators are identified and arrested. The stolen trailer, which was found hidden in the apartment of one of the perpetrators, is seized.

The services of the Orikum Police Station in cooperation with the Vlora Police Commissariat, in continuation of the work to uncover previous thefts and bring the perpetrators to justice, based on information provided by intelligence, successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "Rulot," as a result of which the following citizens were arrested:

J. S, 26 years old, resident of Orikum;

GG, 38 years old, resident of Dukat.
