Two days ago, a video of Albanian music icon Parashqevi Simaku went viral on social media, where he was seen talking about aid, saying that "they keep us alive."

The Albanian who found the former diva of the Albanian scene in New York last Saturday. 

Elvira Tata managed to talk to Simak in Albanian and English and, as she herself writes, there are other videos with the famous singer.      

"For all my friends, I quenched your curiosity about Parashqevië a little. She was in a really poor state, but with a strong dignity and enjoyed full health. This short video after making many videos together will show you that she is a vital, wise and more light-hearted woman," writes Elvira Tata .

Meanwhile, in another video, the Albanian woman speaks to Simaku, who has spoken in Albanian after many years, saying that she has difficulty communicating in Albanian, as she has not used the language of her homeland for many years.

"With you for the first time I spoke Albanian, I forgot all these years and I forgot. I studied in English," Parashqevia is heard saying.

Meanwhile, her compatriot tells her not to lose hope and that Albanians love her just as much as they did many years ago when they adored her voice.


Tata encourages her to paint her lips and reappear beautiful in front of Albanians who are clearly nostalgic for their idol of 40-30 years ago these days...
