Kreshnik Cara, 49, who was injured with a knife after an incident on "Sami Frashëri" Street in the capital, has died in hospital.

"Following the information provided a little while ago, we inform you that citizen KC, 49 years old, who was injured with a cutting tool, despite the medical assistance received, has died in hospital.

"The investigation team continues its actions to fully document the circumstances of the case," the police announced.

The perpetrator of the serious incident is suspected to be citizen Toni Nake.
