Paid 20 thousand pounds, sentenced to 4 years Albanian in England
Indrit Barhani

Indrit Barhani is an Albanian who has been left in prison for 4 years because he is suspected of taking part in the transport of 8 immigrants who almost drowned during the sinking of a ship off the coast of Devon.

DailyMail writes that Barhani, an economist by profession, acted as an intermediary between the organized crime gang in Belgium and yacht captain James Wisbey, who had Albanians in his 27-meter Sea Crystal boat.

Barhani arranged the payment for yacht engine repairs before the voyage, which took place on December 14, 2020. The migrants were taken from the French coast and sent across the Canal to the Wisbey yacht. But the ship sank as it was overloaded and powerless in the face of a storm off the coast of Devon.

The terrified passengers came ashore and crossed the main Paddington Railroad in Plymouth before climbing a cliff, where they were arrested by Border Force agents and police.

Barhani, was tracked through his telephone contacts with Wisbey, who was paid ,000 20,000 and the police then found other messages they were arranging to take the migrants to the boat.
