The three Albanians, who were brutally raped by a group of people on Saturday evening in Montenegro, have returned to Albania of their own accord.
The State Police announces that they have returned to Albania after giving statements to the Montenegrin police in the presence of a lawyer, expert in the Albanian language and representatives of the Albanian embassy in Montenegro.
As it is known, the leaders of the State Police have asked their Montenegrin counterparts that, for security reasons, the three Albanians should be accompanied by police officers to the border.
It is known that they arrived in Muriqan around 05:30 and were received by the leaders of the border crossing point and the Local Directorate for Border and Migration Shkodër, who accompanied them to the Shkodër Regional Hospital. After having performed the medical checks, it turns out that their health condition is good.
The police of Montenegro announce that they are working to solve the incident.
Surveillance camera videos from buildings near the incident were checked. Meanwhile, three people from Herceg Novi have been identified as the perpetrators of the physical attack, whose identity has since been determined and measures will be taken for their capture and arrest.
