The 13-year-old who had an accident this afternoon on the Miras-Sinicë road axis in Bilisht has been directed to the Trauma hospital for more specialized help as his condition is serious.

The police informs that the 13-year-old, a resident of the village of Miras, was driving a motorcycle without a license plate and was behind his brother. The latter's condition appears to be stabilized.

According to the police, the 13-year-old was moving without being equipped with a spacesuit on his head when he was hit by a vehicle, leaving both brothers injured.

The 13-year-old was sent by Trauma helicopter to the capital.

Further procedural actions are being carried out with the driver of the van, a citizen of AB.

The investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances and determine the causes of the accident.
