A serious incident happened in Gramsh. It is suspected that a person drowned in Banja lake.

On the edge of Banja lake, near the village of Qerret, some items were found that are thought to belong to a 30-year-old man. The latter has been missing for two days.

The police and fire brigade have arrived at the scene and are checking the area to find the body of the 30-year-old man, who is suspected to have drowned.

Pigeon guards have also arrived at the scene, and are checking the area.

About 2 hours ago, the citizen Selaudin Braimllari appeared at the police station and filed a report about his son (with mental health problems) Ilir Braimllari, born on 29.11.1990, a resident of Pishaj, who left the apartment yesterday afternoon. He is suspected to have committed suicide in the village of Qerret.

"This morning, at the Gramsh Police Station, citizen SB reported that yesterday afternoon, his son citizen IB, 30 years old, who suffers from mental health problems, had left his apartment.

Immediately after the notification, the Police services, together with the family members, started searching for him, and at around 12:30, they found near the lake of Banja, in the village of Qerret, belongings of the 30-year-old (tobacco bag), who is suspected to have drowned himself in the lake.

Police and fire services together with family members are continuing the search along the lake. Also, in order to find the body of the IB citizen, RENEA searchers have been dispatched.

The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office continues the work of documenting the circumstances of the case with legal evidence", the police announced.
