Besnik Veliaj, the 28-year-old who died of asphyxiation, will be taken to his last resting place this Monday at 1:00 PM in the Lofkënd village cemetery in Mallakastër.

He, together with his friend Bledar Bregu, went in to clean a water well, and unfortunately they suffocated. Firefighter Albens Zotaj also had health problems from asphyxia, who after receiving medical help is in good health.

The two boys, 28 and 33 years old, accidentally fell into the well they were cleaning and could not get out without the help of the firemen. 

Although they were transported to the hospital in Fier, the 28-year-old Veliaj could not survive, while his friend continues to be under the observation of doctors.
