The tragedy that happened the day before in Potam of Himara has caused an indignation of citizens over the loss of the life of 7-year-old Jonada, and about the little security that citizens have even in the areas where they go to rest.

A tribute march for the little girl who lost her life in Potam was held in the tourist area of ​​Shengjin.

The Diocese of Rrëshen, in cooperation with civil society organizations in Kurbin e Lezhë paid homage by lighting candles and throwing flowers on the coast of Shengjin in commemoration of the 7-year-old.

This march from the church of Shengjin to the vicinity of the port was also a silent protest against such events that have not been rare on our coast.

Dom Gjergj Meta was the first to call for this tribute, saying that the little girl lost her life as a result of the irresponsibility of the institutions.

It was Lejla, a 6-year-old girl, the age of little Jonada, who first threw the flowers into the sea and then all the citizens after her, lighting the candles as well.

Dom Gjergj Meta said that in their prayer in peace for the family that lost its child there are thousands of Albanians who were bitter, sad and in solidarity for this event and everything is a tribute to them.
