A serious incident occurred in Lake Pogradec, where a 32-year-old man lost his life after drowning in the water.

According to preliminary data, the 32-year-old was in a boat about 150 meters from the shore of the lake, while spending time in the water.

Under circumstances that are still unclear, he jumped from the boat into the lake to wash himself, but moments later he had problems and drowned.

Emergency services were notified immediately after the incident, and the search continues to recover the body from the lake waters.

Police have launched investigations to fully uncover the circumstances of the incident.
