A 33-year-old man suffered badly in Tirana, after according to police, when he attempted to violently rob an apartment in the capital, he was confronted by the owner of the house, who managed to neutralize him by punching him.

In connection with this incident, the police arrested citizen AZ, 33 years old, in flagrante delicto, while criminally prosecuting the owner of the apartment on the grounds that he acted in self-justification.

"Citizen AZ, 33 years old, was arrested, and the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen SL, as it is suspected that the 33-year-old attempted to violently rob the apartment of citizen SL, who, in self-defense, punched him ," the police statement said.
