A serious event shook Shkodra a few days ago, where 34-year-old Kristian Kola was executed with a hail of bullets for reasons that still remain a mystery to the police.
Kristian's father, Marash Kola, is still without an answer. In an exclusive interview with Albania Live, he recounted how he learned of his son's unfortunate news.
He also added that he is considering revenge if the police do not solve the mysterious murder.
"I found out through the media, he went out after work with friends, had a coffee. The assassins shot him in disbelief. It's not the first case in Shkodra that a contract killing has occurred, but the man kills you on sight. Here 99% is the hand of the police, of the State that gives these assassins the opportunity to kill in advance.
The boy worked in construction. He didn't have the opportunity to do any other work, because he was in construction 10 hours a day. I had the boy as a friend, he had a special nature, he was wise and sociable. He didn't engage in any other activity.
We as a family have never had any conflicts or anything. Christian only had 1 vehicle in his name, he was not married, but he was with a girl who stayed in our house as long as he wanted, then they separated amicably. On the night of the assassination, he was with a friend who always stays.
They killed him, he lay on the ground for an hour, if the ambulance had arrived earlier, he might have lived.
"I'm thinking about revenge, if the person who killed my son comes out, I'll kill him, I'll take revenge personally. I'll take it out on those police officers who don't, I'm not afraid of anyone. They can kill me behind my back, but I'm not afraid of anyone. The Shkodra police force must be abolished, with foundations, and another police force must be established," said Kola.
