The Police Supervision Agency (Elbasan-Korçë Region) has implemented the order of the Prosecutor's Office for the execution of the decision of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Elbasan, which has imposed the coercive personal security measure "House arrest" for two police officers, suspected of the criminal offenses "Abuse of office" and "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions".

The announcement distributed to the media explains that this concerns:

➡️ Inspector N. XH., on duty as a police officer at the Elbasan Police Station.
➡️ Inspector EK, on duty as a police officer at the Elbasan Traffic Police Sector.

The Court's decision came based on the criminal proceedings of 2024, where the in-depth investigative actions of AMP under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Elbasan, made it possible to collect evidence and facts that create reasonable suspicion of the involvement of these employees in corrupt acts and abuse of office.
