SPAK operation against smuggling and tax evasion, several arrest warrants

SPAK has undertaken another operation this Wednesday where, according to sources, several security measures are being executed for an investigation related to crimes in the field of customs and taxes.

At the request of SPAK and a decision of the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime, several measures have been approved, such as house arrest and an obligation to appear, while a businessman has been arrested.

Among those involved in this scheme are suspected to be customs officials and businessmen involved in the cigarette trade.

The investigation includes allegations of corruption, smuggling within a structured criminal group, tax evasion, concealment of income, etc.
