Freedom Party leader Ilir Meta asks the Supreme Court for his freedom.
His lawyers are reported to have filed the request of the PL leader with this court. The High Court has registered the recourse made by Ilir Meta's defense for the security measure.
It is expected that in the coming days a date and a panel of judges will be set to review the appeal. Meta is seeking the annulment of the decision of the other two levels of the judiciary.
We recall that previously the Appeals Court of Appeal rejected Meta's request for a change of measure.
