Erogen Vaso, who was injured during the first assassination attempt two days ago in Shkodra, has been questioned again by investigators.
Vaso is suspected of being the target of the assassination attempt carried out by Ragip Gila, which left two people dead and injured two others, including the 43-year-old.
He told authorities that he was drinking his morning coffee when he saw a person wearing a spacesuit and holding a gun.
"At that moment I got up and ran away," he said.
He then confessed that Gila followed him and shot him with a gun.
He denied knowing the perpetrator or having any previous conflict.
Regarding his relationship with the Bajri tribe, Vaso admitted that he has friendships with them, but stated that he is not involved in criminal activities.
