At a time when the death of Joy Aoko still has no perpetrator, after she was barbarically raped and thrown from the second floor of the apartment where she lived on 'Pandeli Evangjeli' street in Tirana, today a protest will be held in front of the Prosecutor's Office.
The protest will take place at 17:00 and justice will be demanded for the barbaric murder of the 22-year-old woman from Kenya who had come to work in a casino in Tirana. But the circumstances of how the event happened are still a mystery.
In an appeal on social networks, her friend, who arrived with her in Tirana, says that the person who raped her is free and may rape another girl tomorrow. She calls for us to come together to seek justice on behalf of family and friends.
'We both came to Albania, but Joy was brutally attacked. It's been 7 months and we still don't know what really happened. Therefore, I am turning to you to seek justice on behalf of my family and friends. And I am here to tell you that that person is free today. And you never know, yesterday it was Joy, tomorrow it could be me, you, your daughter. So let's come together Kenya and Albania and help Joy's family get justice because we are devastated. 7 months have passed and no one has a clue what really happened. Please protest for justice for Joy. And that means a lot to me and to Joy's family.'- she says.
We remind you that the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana sent a letter to the Prosecutor's Office of Kenya and asked them to make available the autopsy that was performed on the 22-year-old woman in the hospital morgue where she died. This request comes within the framework of the Tirana prosecutor's investigation into the death of Joy Ayoko.
The 22-year-old passed away in Kenya as the news was confirmed by her mother Ruth Abongo to VoxNews. The 22-year-old left Albania on January 25 of this year, towards her hometown to be treated at Kenyatta Hospital, in Kenya. Joy left the trauma hospital in a "half coma", unconscious.
