The "threads" continue to be cut/ 20 cameras from Dibra to Durrës

The State Police continued with the operation "Fijet", where they dismantled 20 more cameras, installed in violation of the law, in the districts of Dibër, Korçë, Tirana and Durrës.

8 citizens were investigated, for invasion of privacy and to legally document the purpose of why they had installed these cameras. At the national level, the number of dismantled cameras is 548 and the number of citizens under investigation is 116.

7 cameras were dismantled in Peshkopi, 6 in Korçë and Pogradec, 4 cameras were dismantled in Tirana and 3 cameras in Durrës.

Police notification:

In the framework of the thirteenth phase of this operation, relying on the information provided by the information intelligence, the checks continued in public areas and other premises. During this phase, 20 more cameras, installed in violation of the law, were dismantled and seized in the counties of Dibër, Korçë, Tirana and Durrës.

- In Peshkopi, following field checks, 7 cameras installed in violation of the law were also dismantled, and investigations were initiated for the RD citizen

In total, until now, in Dibër district, 13 cameras have been dismantled and investigations have been initiated for 5 citizens.

- In the cities of Korçë and Pogradec, following the checks, 6 cameras were dismantled and investigations were initiated for the citizens SM, J. Xh., A. Ç. and Th. M.

In total, until now, in the Korçë district, 67 cameras have been dismantled and investigations have been initiated for 28 citizens.

- In Tirana, 4 cameras were dismantled and investigations were initiated for citizens E. Ll. and EC

In total, so far, in Tirana district, 224 cameras have been dismantled and investigations have been initiated for 46 citizens.

- In Durrës, following the controls, 3 cameras were dismantled and investigations were initiated for the citizen DM

In total, until now, in the Durrës region, 57 cameras have been dismantled and investigations have been initiated for 12 citizens.

Controls continue in all districts.
