Today will start the Tirana Marathon 2022, the biggest sports event in the city, which this year comes with its 6th edition. About 2500 runners from all over the world participate in this race and it is divided into four categories: "Marathon", the full race dedicated to professionals, "Half Marathon", for those who want to challenge themselves, "Tirana 10K" where mainly marathon enthusiasts compete, but not professionals, and the "We Too" category, which is a race for people with different abilities.

For the success of this activity, the Municipality of Tirana, in cooperation with the State Police, has drawn up a plan of measures for organizing the movement of vehicles during the marathon.

Vehicle traffic restrictions will start from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on the following axes:
- In "Mother Teresa" square, continuing along "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, "Gjergj Filipi" street, "Papa John Paul II" street, "Ismail Qemali" street, "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, "Bajram Curri" boulevard, the intersection with Elbasani street, "George Ë" street. Bush", "Abdi Toptani" street, "Zog I" boulevard, "Ri" boulevard, "Ded Gjon Luli" street, Durres street, "Kavaja" street, "Myslym Shyri" street, "Zhan D'Ark" boulevard from the intersection with the Tirana Court bridge to the Taiwan bridge, "Bajram Curri" boulevard from the intersection with the Tirana District Court bridge to the Taiwan bridge, "Ibrahim Rugova" street and "Lek Dukagjini" street, with the exception of emergency vehicles and the State Police .

2.1. The circulation of vehicles will be done according to the movement plan as follows:

– In the Middle Ring, except for the segment of the Tirana District Court bridge to Elbasan Street, "Luigj Gurakuqi" street, Dibra street, Barricadave street, "Mine Peza" street, Kavajë street from the Technological Bridge to "21 Djetori" street, "Vaso Pasha" street, "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection with "Vaso Pasha" street to "Sami Frashëri" street, "Abdyl Frashëri" street from the intersection with "Willson" square to "Vaso Pasha" street, the intersection of Elbasan street and "Zhan D'Ark" boulevard with forced directions: right and left, respectively.
- At the intersection of Barricadave street with Dibra street, forced directions in function of suspension of traffic in the segment of "Unaz e Vogël" with exit to "Zogu I" boulevard.
- At the intersection of "Zogu I" boulevard with "Fortuzi" street, forced directions due to traffic suspension.
- On the "Mine Peza" road, forced directions in function of traffic suspension in the Durrcs road segment.
– At the intersection "21 Djetori", forced directions in function of the traffic suspension in the Kavaja street segment.
- On "Myslym Shyri" road with "Sami Frasheri" road, forced direction in function of traffic suspension in the segment of "Myslym Shyri" road at the exit to the ring road.
- At the "Vasil Shanto" intersection, forced directions due to the suspension of traffic in the "Bajram Curri" boulevard segment.

- At the intersection of "Pjeter Bogdani" street with "Vaso Pasha" street, forced directions due to traffic suspension in the segment of "Pjeter Bogdani" street with exit to "Ibrahim Rugova" street.
- At the intersection of "Abdyl Frasheri" street with "Vaso Pasha" street, forced directions in function of traffic suspension in the segment of "Vaso Pasha" street with exit to "Ibrahim Rugova" street.
- At the intersection of "Adem Jashari" road, forced direction in function of suspension of traffic in the road segment with exit to "Ibrahim Rugova" road.

2.2. The route of movement of urban lines will be diverted as follows: -
Line No. l/A "Headquarters - Crystal - Center - Train Station - Allias" and 1/B "
Sun Hill 2 - Crystal - Center - Train Station - Allias" is temporarily suspended.
– Line No. 2 'Teg – Old Sauk – Zoo – Former Train Station' detours to 'Wilson Square'.
– Line No. 3 "Kashar-Yzberisht-Centre" diverts to "21 Djetori" and to Karl Topia Square.
– Line No. 4 "Center - QTU - Megatek - City Park" diverts to Karl Topia Square.
– Line No. 5/A "Former Autotractor Plant - Center" deviates to the "Elbasani" road bridge.
– Line No. 5 /B "Institut - Center" deviates from "Karl Topia" square.
– Line No. 6 "Laprakë" deviates from "Zogu I".
– Line No. 8 "Former Train Station - Center - Sauk i Ri/ Sauk i Vjetër/ Sanatorium - Teg" diverts to "e Elbasan" street, "Cyteti Studenti" roundabout.
– Line No. 9 "Student City - "Jordan Misja" is temporarily suspended.
– Line No. I0/A "New Maternity - Center - Former Aviation Field" diverts to the Elbasani road bridge.
– Line No. 12/A "Uzina Dinamo e Re - Sharre" deviates to "21 Djetori" in the direction of the "Vasil Shanto" bridge and then the buildings with arrows, the rest is temporarily suspended.
- Line 12/B "5 Maji - Sharre" deviates from "Zogu I" to "21 Djetori" in the direction of the "Vasil Shanto" bridge and then the buildings with arrows, the rest is temporarily suspended.
– Line No. 13 "Tirana e Re" diverts to "Illson" square and the rest to "Karl Topia" square.

– Line No. 14 The ring is temporarily suspended.
-Line No. 15 "Kombinat - Kinostudio" divert to Kavaja street at the intersection with "Muhamet Gjollesha" street (December 21) and the rest at the intersection with Unaza e Vogël continue straight (behind TOB).
