New images have emerged on the death of 32-year-old Lear Kurti, who died on Wednesday evening, October 19, and opened a debate on the behavior of the police officers.

More specifically, his route, from the moment the Police Patrol signaled him to stop, until the moment he fell unconscious, and Vox News.al previously published exclusive footage of how the officers tried to lift him by force even though he was in serious health condition.

As can be seen in the footage provided by the "Review" show on Euronews Albania, the police have been patrolling the street, meanwhile Kurti appears, who was crossing the street with a phone in his hand, apparently talking to someone. Then you can see the moment when two policemen one after the other start running after the 32-year-old. They followed him for 200 meters, until they neutralized him on the street of 'Don Bosco'.

Meanwhile, later, Vox News.al published the exclusive images where the young man is in a serious state of health and unconscious, as the police officer tries to lift him by force. 

In the condition that Lear Kurti was in, the blue uniforms should not have touched him at all and even worse handcuffed him or even escorted him to the police station as three officers did in the following video.

Ata duhet të njoftonin ambulancë dhe të prisnin bluzat e bardha në vendin e ngjarjes deri në momentin kur të vinin për t'i dhënë ndihmën e parë mjekësore.

Spitali i Traumës përgënjeshtroi policinë, teksa tha se Kurti kishte mbërritur i vdekur aty.  Policia jo vetëm që nuk lajmëroi ambulancën, por e mori të riun dhe e çoi në komisariat dhe më pas e çuan të vdekur në spital.

Për gjatë gjithë kësaj kohe, nëse efektivët do kishin vepruar siç duhet, ndoshta mjekët do kishin vepruar në momentin e duhur dhe sot Lear Kurti do ishte gjallë.


Përmes një njoftimi, Agjencia e Mbikëqyrjes Policore tha se mbrëmjen e 19 tetorit, gjatë patrullimit në Rr. “Riza Çuka” në zonën e Laprakës, efektivët kanë konstatuar Laert Kurtin duke qëndruar përpara një biznesi privat, për të cilin kushtet dhe rrethanat diktonin nevojën e një verifikimi.

Në momentin kur punonjësit e Policisë, i kanë kërkuar dokumentin e identifikimit, Kurti është larguar me vrap, duke mos iu bindur thirrjeve të njëpasnjëshme të punonjësve të Policisë për të ndaluar.

Pasi ka vrapuar për rreth 200 metra, i ndjekur nga patrulla e Policisë, mes rrugicave midis rrugës “Riza Çuka” dhe “Don Bosko”, ai është kapur dhe ndaluar nga punonjësit e Policisë, vend në të cilin kanë qëndruar 7 minuta.

The young man was escorted to the police station and the preliminary investigation concludes that he died because he swallowed a bag of drugs to avoid being caught by the police.
