However, Prime Minister Rama has categorically refused to raise their salaries and the lecturers have warned of an escalation up to a total boycott of the academic year, while through an announcement made, the Union says that on Monday, at 11:00, they will be again in the main square in front of the Polytechnic University of Tirana to pursue their cause, which they describe as an "academic mission".
