The lower ring road of the city of Burrel is currently out of service even for residents living along it, after it suffered 4 collapses, two of which damaged the entire body of the road.
The most problematic part is on its western side, where in at least two places the entire route has been severely damaged, making it impassable for any type of vehicle.
Most residents are unable to drive to their homes, and as the road collapse continues, it has also put homes at risk.
The total reconstruction of the Lower Ring Road of the city of Burrel is financed by the Albanian Road Authority worth 128 million new lek, launched a year ago.
This project is being implemented by the company "ULZA" sh.pk, owned by the builder Ndue Shpani, which in Mat alone has won projects for the reconstruction of four schools as well as the "Theme Park" project in Bulqiza.

Although the reconstruction works of this ring road began and were completed last year, it was not fully operational due to the damage caused by rainfall in October 2025.
