Brunilda Gjoni , who is considered a bone of contention for the murder of her brother, Asim Gjoni , by their father Hekuran Gjoni , has revealed that after the crime on the evening of February 1, the family turned their backs on her.

On News 24, she revealed that she has received life threats, seeking protection from the state.

She emphasized that she was never interested in her father's wealth and that there have always been conflicts in the family, adding that her life is in danger.

"I am asking for protection from the state. Because I am afraid to even leave the hospital. I have nowhere to go and where to stay. I am asking for protection, they told me, 'If you speak against the family, you will not be alive in Albania.' (Crying) I am afraid, the family turned their backs on me, I went in to separate them. I am telling the truth as it is. Brunilda was not interested in her father's wealth, I wanted to get her parents out of there.  Why should they be angry with me, I did not even get 5 lek from them. Why should they call me and tell me, 'don't show up in this neighborhood because you were killed'? What did I kill her for? I did not commit a crime. My life is in danger. I am still not recovering.  I am in the hospital and no one has been interested in coming, I have done nothing to them," said Brunilda Gjoni .
